Fall Athlete Move-In Information:

Move In Days:

  • Wednesday - August 13, 2025: Football
  • Friday, August 15: All other fall sports (Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Women's Tennis)
  • Times still TBD

Where will students stay during early move in?

  • Fall Student-Athletes will move into their room that they will live in for the Academic Year.

Will people be there to help with move-in for fall athletes?

  • Because our Fall Student-Athletes are one of the first groups on campus, there will not be help with move in for moving items into dorm rooms. 
  • Housing Staff will be there to hand out keys and check in Student-Athletes.

What will they eat during pre-season? Who pays for it?

  • Fall Student-Athletes will eat in Andrew Commons. 
  • Meals will be covered by the University until Saturday, September 13, and then their meal plan will start for the Academic Year.

What paperwork should students bring if they want to get a job, on or off campus?

  • The majority of our student-athletes help with game management for other teams during their off-season and this is a paid job. 
  • In order to complete on-boarding for any on campus job, students have to complete some paperwork that includes having original personal documents (NOT COPIES) with them. This following list can provide you guidance to what documents are required.

What medical forms do I have to fill out? 

  • All new LU student-athletes are required to have a physical within six months of either: 
    • The first day of practice for fall sports or 
    • The first day of classes for winter and spring sports

New Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Student-Athletes

This includes all incoming first-year, transfer students, and current LU students joining a team.

All forms must be completed prior to participation. There are no exceptions. All new LU student-athletes' forms and portal information needs to be submitted by August 1 in order for you to be fully cleared to participate on the first day or practice. Please make sure you review the insurance requirements to make sure they have been met.

All new LU student-athletes are required to have a physical within six months of either (1) the first day of practice for fall sports or (2) the first day of classes for winter and spring sports. For mid-year transfer students, your physical date must be within six months of your first day of participation.
