Overload Policy
Tuition covers up to 22 units per term (excluding ensembles). If you enroll in more than 22 units, you will be charged an overload fee. The amount of the overload fee is listed in the Comprehensive Fee Details above.ÌýClick here for more information on the Overload Policy.
Students officially enrolled in the BA/BMus double-degree program receive a Double Degree Scholarship equal to seven overload units each academic year. Any overload units beyond 7 units will be charged at standard overload rate. Unused scholarship credits do not roll over to the next academic year.Ìý
December TermÌý
December Term (D-Term) is an optional two-week session of academic enrichment during the break between fall and winter terms. .
Financial Aid for D-Term
Beginning with the 2019 December Term, need-based grant funding will be available to degree-seeking students. December Term grant funding will be applied to tuition only, and will range from $250 to $1,000.
To be eligible for a need-based grant, you must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in a December Term course. Additionally, grant eligibility will be based on your FAFSA for the current academic year, and the amount will be determined by the Financial Aid Office. For students who are not eligible for Federal Student Aid, eligibility will be based on I-20 documentation or completion of the CSS Profile Application.Ìý
