Campus SafetyÌý

Call Campus Safety for transportation assistance 920-832-6999 for the following needs:Ìý

  • Safety walks/rides if youÌýare sick, injured, or feelÌýunsafe
  • RideÌýto Walgreens for urgent prescription pickup
  • RideÌýto medical providers; done at the request of Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Health Center staff

Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Loop

If you need intra-campus transport, the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Loop will work with you on an 'on-call' system - similar to commercial services like Uber and Lyft.Ìý Planning your timing accordingly is important, as there can be up to a 15 minute wait time once you have made your request.ÌýThis service is limited to campus addresses, but can take you to main campus locations, the Banta Bowl, the offices at 1025 East S. River Street, or to Fox Commons.Ìý

  • Call 920-419-6793 to arrange yourÌýrideÌý
  • Students, staff and faculty will show their ID upon riding the shuttle
  • Hours of operation are 7am-11pmÌý (Monday through Friday)
  • There are no weekend shuttlesÌýÌý

Shuttles Around TownÌý

The LUCC Student Welfare Committee helps manage a shuttle service that connects students to commonly visited stores around town. There is generally a revised schedule during week six (the week of MTRP) and finals week.ÌýÌý

Schedule and Pick-up Locations While in Academic Terms:

The campus pickups for the Shopping Shuttle are located at the Wriston Turnaround. Students should meet at the Wriston Turnaround for a 5pm departure.ÌýÌý

  • Wednesday:Ìý Fox River Mall
  • Thursday: Woodmans
  • Store pickup times: 6:15pm

Valley Transit Bus

Use the Valley Transit public bus system to get into the community to volunteer, work, shop, etc. Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ students ride free with your LU ID! There are several bus stops on or nearby campus. The LU Service Shuttle

The LU Service Shuttle is sponsored by the Committee on Volunteer Engagement (COVE) and is supported by the Center for Community Engagement and Social Change (CCE). The service shuttle is for students seeking transportation for volunteer opportunities, and it runs by request only. Sign up must be completed seven days in advance.
