Based on Studs Terkel鈥檚 1974 examination of the working condition and private dreams of 26 鈥渁verage鈥 Americans, Working celebrate the range and diversity of our working lives. With songs by a variety of composers including Stephen Schwartz, Mary Rogers, James Taylor, Susan Birkenhead, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

This play for young (and old) audiences is about a squirrel who gets sucked up in a vacuum cleaner and comes out with super powers to understand humans . . . and open their hearts.听 We鈥檒l bring audiences from area elementary schools to join us here on campus for a fully produced experience.
