Studio Culture
You’ll have lots of opportunities to connect with faculty and fellow studio members through weekly lessons, chamber music coaching, studio performance classes, and flute ensemble rehearsals. You’ll be an active participant in repertoire selection and frequently perform alongside your fellow flautists. Perform side-by-side with faculty in flute ensembles and contemporary music projects. Musical exploration is encouraged and you can follow your interests by taking jazz flute lessons, and piccolo lessons, participating in improvisatory ensembles, working with composition students, and more.
