Staying light on your feet, learning to move with the groove as it ebbs and flows, and having strong creative collaboration skills are all essentials for post-Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ life that can be found within the dance program.

While there is no dance major at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, students of the dance program find ways to integrate their love of movement into careers and future study.

The Dance program includes Lawrentians from many areas of study including mathematics, music, psychology, biology, economics, gender studies, and education.

Participants of the program have gone on to teach dance in K-12 settings, created their own artistic dance shows, pursued a M.F.A. in dance and theater, and become professional musicians who perform with dance companies.
