Auditioning is part of the admissions process for the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Conservatory of Music. Learn about the requirements, dates, and procedures below.

How to Apply

  1. Complete all general application requirements
  2. Submit supplemental music requirements:
    1. Music Teacher Recommendation - This may come from your private teacher or an ensemble director. You will be asked to provide their name and email address within your application. They will then receive a link to complete a recommendation.   
    2. Music Resume - This may be completed with your application for admission or through your  after you have submitted your application.
  3. Complete an audition. Learn about audition requirements.

Audition Dates and Procedures

An audition is required for the following degree programs:

  • Bachelor of Music (BMus)
  • Bachelor of Musical Arts (BMA) - Jazz and Contemporary Improvisation
  • Double Degree (BMus/BA)

An audition is not required for admission to the Bachelor of Arts in Music (BA) program.

In-person and self-recorded audition modes are available with varying dates based on your application round (Early Decision, Early Action 1, or Regular Decision). You may choose any of the audition modes/dates associated with your application round. All modes, dates, and rounds are considered equally.

You must submit an application to receive access to audition registration.
