Gregory Milano is an interdisciplinary historian and social theorist specializing in modern European and world history. 惭颈濒补苍辞鈥檚 current research project examines cultural identity and anti-globalism in Fascist Italy during the late interwar period. He is the author of 鈥The Class Without Consciousness: Fascism鈥檚 鈥楴ew鈥 Workers and the 1942 World鈥檚 Fair of Rome鈥 in Contemporary European History (2021). As recipient of the Mellon Foundation Latin American Scholastic Fellowship at the University of Chicago, Milano researched Mexico during the Great Depression.
Milano has taught courses in history, social theory, political science, sociology, ethnic studies, global studies, economics, psychoanalysis, and criminology.
