Before coming to Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Cindy Pinkert's professional background included mental healthcare, private caregiving, restaurant management, and performing arts. Cindy relocated to Appleton from Missouri in 2019 with her children Zeki, Erna, and Tristan. They have two dogs, Lilith Lotus and Bilbo Baggins. She joined Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ's Campus Safety Department in September of 2023 and worked as a third-shift officer. In the spring of 2024, Cindy became a Lead Campus Safety Officer and accepted an administrative position within the Campus Safety Office.
Cindy may be Campus Safety's most identifiable officer from a distance. With over 75% of her body tattooed and hair that is always a different bright color, it's safe to say she is a proud supporter of self-expression. Her appreciation of art in many forms has infiltrated the department. Cindy's photography now lines the walls of the Campus Safety Office.
Cindy's interests include Pokémon, Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, 80's horror films, 90s cartoons, board games, card games, word puzzles, spinning fire, doing hula hoop tricks, collecting heart shapes found in nature and neat stones, preserving and collecting taxidermy specimen. Stop by the Campus Safety Office and see Cindy's office of Oddities, or feel free to say hello while she is working at any of Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ's home athletic events down at the Banta Bowl.
