Alison Scott-Williams, an esteemed leader in arts education, is the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ. This newly established position at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, although common in higher education, will make Scott-Williams the chief administrative and strategy officer. She oversees the development and delivery of campus services, along with the strategic operations that support the university’s growth and financial health. Scott-Williams plays a pivotal role in advancing the university's strategic services and operations.
Scott-Williams brings a wealth of experience from her recent role as president of Studio in a School NYC, where she led initiatives that provided arts education to over 23,000 students across 175 New York City Title 1 public schools. Her previous roles include vice president for arts education at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and several key positions at The Juilliard School.
A native Midwesterner and liberal arts graduate, Scott-Williams is deeply committed to supporting Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ's community. She holds advanced degrees in voice performance and opera theater from the Manhattan School of Music and Oberlin Conservatory, along with a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Baruch College. She has also completed a leadership fellowship with American Express and a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School.
