Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Instructor of Starting STEM Savvy (Summer Institute)
I’ve been teaching in the math department at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ for five years.  I’ve spent my whole life in the Midwest, starting in North Dakota where I grew up and completed my undergraduate and graduate studies. I spent two years in a visiting position at Carleton College in Minnesota before settling in Wisconsin at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ. As an undergraduate, I started in biology, briefly switched to electrical engineering, and eventually found my home in mathematics. I enjoy working with students who are finding their way to the right major and like how the liberal arts model allows them to explore new areas and a variety of interests. Â
During my five years at Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, I’ve become more interested in teaching and developing our foundational courses in precalculus, calculus, and discrete math.
